DJ visualizer: beat-synced visuals for live sets
Beat Visualizer team
Visuals as a layer, not a crutch
A DJ visualizer should reinforce groove, not distract from mixing. Beat Visualizer is built for second-screen or projector use: fullscreen, dark chrome by default, and overlay controls that dim when the crowd should focus on the room.
Beat sync modes
Use 8 / 16 / 32 beat intervals when you want predictable structure during a planned set. On drop is more dramatic but can feel busy in intimate rooms. Smart sync tries to phrase with estimated BPM β great for open-format nights when BPM swings.
Audio routing realities
Browsers expose microphone input reliably; system / mixer loopback depends on the OS. Many DJs route booth or master into an interface channel that the browser sees as a mic, or use OBS audio monitoring into a virtual device.
Safety
Strobe-like modes can trigger photosensitive viewers β announce or avoid aggressive strobes in public gigs.
